Joel Kaplan runs a community of over 300 entrepreneurs who were promised their first in-person community meetup in the calendar year of 2021. However, this event that they had planned came in around the same time as when COVID started flooding in the United States. Due to this being the case at the time, not a single venue allowed an in-person event to be held in their establishments.
Joel tried everything, from even hiring Dan Blizerian’s own event coordinator but was met with no success. The group members of Joel was left sad and felt as if they were without a community they could connect and relate with due to the pandemic shutting down all activities. As Joel was ready to give up on his mission to make his event happen, KLEVR reached out to extend a helping hand.
KLEVR immediately knew that this event could not be held inside of the United States, so we searched internationally. Leveraging private rentals, connections, everything we had to ensure we could make this a possibility. We found a hacienda that satisfied all of the COVID restrictions that Mexico had at the time and will allow all of Joel’s attendees to gather, learn, hang out, and enjoy the event that they were promised all in outdoor facility while respecting COVID guidelines at the same time.
With only 3 and a half months left to prepare for this massive international event, KLEVR got back to work. The hacienda featured an open lobby atmosphere, so we leverated a local AV company to build and erect outdoor equipment to allow 80 people to see and absorb the educational materials easily. We also thought that rain and bad weather may be a factor during the event, so we arranged a custom drape unit to hover over all of the attendees and equipment to protect everyone and everything effectively.
We partnered with the homeowner to ensure that the food was beautiful and custom catered to match everyones specific dietary needs. Every single attendee has to also submit a negative COVID test before arriving to the venue and to ensure that everyone returned to their home country safely, KELVR help the first mobile COVID testing site for the attendees, which we are also very proud to announce that there were 0 infections throughout the whole event.
Joel and Sergio never ran an event of this size but wanted to make this as fun and as memorable as possible, but they did not know how. So KLEVR ensured that they opened up this event with a bang. 7FA Live attendees were met with Joel and Sergio in an open door helicopter coming in “iron-man style” to greet them at the beginning of their event.
If pool parties, surf-boards, and mixers weren’t enough, the event concluded with a custom yacht experience. The funny thing about this was the yacht we originally ordered caught on fire the day before we were supposed to rent it. KLER was quick to find a replacement catamaran that not only would hold more attendees, but was half the price of the original yacht. Saving Joel and his team money and increasing the amount of fun four our attendees.
At the end of this 4 day experience, 7FA live attendees were grateful, amazed that they were part of such an incredible community, and ultimately every single one of the attendees got home safe.

Don't worry it's only one kick ass story a week, and the rest is probably cat memes. Plus we won't share your info with anybody else.
